Year 9 Boys Football – 3rd October 2023

The Year 9 boys travelled to Madeley for their first match of the season.

It was a tough match to start the season with, with things not going the boys way after a change in formation that the team wanted to try. As a result, the first half ended with Madeley being 5-0 up. A change of formation and players, along with a tough team talk, saw the boys come fighting back with Gus scoring from the penalty spot towards the end but it wasn’t enough to get the boys back into the game.

Final score – Madeley 7 – 1 STB

A special mention goes out to Kyle who, despite being injured, came along to support the team.
